You can choose from different tours depending on what you are interested in seeing. Tours are typically for small groups, but if you want a tour for a larger group, you can arrange this ahead of time with the company. Horseback riding tour companies on Hydra take safety seriously, so you know you will be looked after.

A horseback riding tour is an ideal way to see different sides to the island in a short amount of time. You can see villages and beaches during your tour. Getting to Hydra Island in Greece

If you’re traveling to Hydra Island from Athens, you can take a ferry that leaves from Piraeus Port many times a day. The ferry trip takes about 2 hours, but the scenery makes it worth the time. If you want a quicker trip there is also a high-speed vessel available.

You can get to Hydra via ferry from Spetses, Poros, and the eastern side of the Peloponnese. Hydra Island does not have an airport, so if you are flying into Greece from another location or from somewhere else within Greece, the closest airport is in Athens.
