The beach of Fokos is located after the artificial lake of Marathi. This lake provides fresh water to the island of Mykonos.
One part of Fokos Beach has become a nudist friendly section and can only be reached after a turn in Ano Mera.

If you do have access to a bike or quad, this is a wonderful way to see the surrounding area.
Visit the artificial lake of Marathi if you want to do some exploring. This lake collects rain water that will serve as the island’s source of water, especially during months when rainfall is limited. The lake was created in 1992 and is protected from pollution.
Getting to Fokos Beach in Mykonos
Getting to the beach of Fokos in Mykonos isn’t difficult. It’s located just 12 km from Mykonos Town. You can get there by car, taxi, or motorbike. Once you hit the village of Ano Mero, there are signs that will lead you to Fokos Beach. When you pass the reservoir, the road will become a dirt track until you hit the beach.
