Orthodox Saint Quadratus History and Name Day Information
Comments Off on Orthodox Saint Quadratus History and Name Day Information
The saints are an important part of the Orthodox Christian Church and we learn about them on a regular basis. Each saint has his or her own feast day, and some people are even named after the saints. Those who are named after them will celebrate their name days on the saints’ feast days. It’s an especially big part of the culture in Greece because some people prefer to celebrate their name day over their own birthday!
Saint Quadratus is one of the early saints of Orthodox Church. His name day is on September 21st and since he is also one of the Seventy Apostles, he is also honored on January 4th with the rest of the Seventy. Here’s more information about him:
About Saint Quadratus
