Written by in , Comments Off on Recipe for Greek Style Sesame Sauce

This Greek sesame sauce is used throughout Greece in a variety of ways. Use it to finish off seafood dishes, as a dip, or to top recipes such as these zucchini fritters.

Greek Style Sesame Sauce (Tahini Saltsa) Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup tahini (sesame paste)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions on How to Prepare Greek Style Sesame Sauce:

Spray a measuring cup with cooking spray and then measure the tahini sauce. The cooking spray will help prevent the tahini from sticking. Drop the tahini into a good processor.

Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves. Place in a food processor and pulse with the tahini until incorporated.

Turn the food processor to low speed and slowly add the lemon juice and then the water. Turn the motor off.

Add the cumin and salt and pulse until the mixture is smooth.
