Versions of this recipe can be found throughout Greece. The flavors of fresh lemon, Greek olive oil, and Greek oregano give it an especially distinct flavor. The fresher the lemon juice is, the better!

Recipe for Greek Style Roasted Potatoes Ingredients:

  • 1 pound roasting potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1 recipe ladolemono

Instructions to Prepare Greek Roasted Potatoes:

Place the potatoes in cold water for about 30 minutes after peeling them and cutting them into wedges.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Prepare the ladolemono according to the recipe instructions. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.

Drain the potatoes in a colander and pat them dry with absorbent paper towels. Place them in a mixing bowl.

Pour the ladolemono onto the potatoes and toss well to coat. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Place the sheet in the center of the oven and bake until cooked all the way through. This should take about 45 minutes.
