Recipe for Greek Style Grilled White Fish

Written by in , Comments Off on Recipe for Greek Style Grilled White Fish

This recipe is traditionally prepared with bonita fish, referred to as palamida, because it is inexpensive and readily available. You can use any type of hearty fish for this dish that you can find, though.

Greek Style Grilled White Fish Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4, 1-inch thick fish steaks such as bonito, tuna, mahi-mahi, halibut, or swordfish
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 recipe ladolemono

Directions to Prepare Greek White Fish:

Rinse the fish steaks under cool water and pat dry with absorbent paper towels.

Salt on both sides.

Prepare the ladolemono according to the recipe instructions.

Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.

Place the fish steaks skin-side down in the dish. Pour the ladolemono over the fish. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about three hours so that the fish can marinate.

When you’re ready to cook the fish, prepare a charcoal grill or preheat the gas grill to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place each fish steak skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 5 minutes and then flip the steak over. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until cooked all the way through.
