Grape vines grow well all over the country and at certain times of the year, they make their way into all kinds of dishes, including this green bean casserole.
Greek Style Green Beans With Grape Leaves Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 recipe ladolemono
- 1 jar grape leaves, rinsed
- 1 pound green beans, washed and ends trimmed
- 1 small shallot, minced
Directions on How to Make Greek Style Green Beans With Grape Leaves:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Prepare the ladolemono according to the recipe instructions.
Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with grape leaves.
Place 1/2 the green beans on top and sprinkle with 1/2 of the shallots. Drizzle with a few tablespoons of the ladolemono.
Place a layer of grape leaves over the beans, followed by the rest of the beans. Sprinkle with the rest of the shallots and drizzle with a few tablespoons of the ladolemono.
Line the top of the baking dish with more grape leaves and drizzle with the rest of the ladolemono.
Place in the oven and bake until tender. This should take about 30 minutes.
