We welcome you to join us for the first in a series of concerts exploring the musical traditions of Greece and its neighbors, from the songs inspired directly by Byzantine chant (psaltotragouda) to the folk songs from various regions of Greece (paradosiaka).
This concert will feature music from the East and the North, including songs from Constantinople, Smyrni, Thrace, and Macedonia.
Admission is free and open to the public. Donations (suggested: $15) will be collected at the door to support the musicians and future concerts in the series.
