“Rhetoric of the Gods,” from the Athena Seminars, a program of 17th century French lute music that mines the Greek mythological roots of the lute repertoire of Versailles, one golden age mirrored in another; performed by Greek Institute member and long-time supporter, Catherine Liddell. Discussion to follow. The Greek Institute, 1038 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. Open to the public, donations welcome.
