The ensemble Psaltikon, directed by Spyridon Antonopoulos, will perform a concert titled “The Psalmody of Creation” at Newton City Hall, 7:30pm, Tuesday, 17 May. The program will explore the repertoire of Byzantine chant (ψαλτική) as well as its origins in ancient Greek music and Jewish music.
