The Behrakis Family Endowed Lecture Series is honored to welcome Nikos Kotzias, Greece’s Minister for Foreign Affairs. From 1993 to 2008, Minister Kotzias served in the Ministry, becoming an ambassador in 2005, and Minister for Foreign Affairs in 2015. He has been involved in a number of negotiations that have shaped the public and international policy of Greece over the last two decades, successfully defending and promoting Greece’s interests and positions. A prolific writer, his work focusing on political theories, international and European Studies has been published in internationally acclaimed journals. Previously Minister Kotzias has taught at the Universities of Marburg, Oxford and Harvard.
Admiral James Stavridis, Dean of The Fletcher School will host and moderate the talk.
The Behrakis Famiy Endowed Lecture Series, within the Constantine G. Karamanlis Chair in Hellenic and European Studies, is presented annually to promote the understanding of Greece’s domestic and international affairs.
There is no charge for the event, but space is limited.
