The Greek Music Ensemble is celebrating the release of its second album, inspired by and dedicated to the music of Manos Hadjidakis and Mikis Theodorakis!

The concert will feature music from the two composers in new original arrangements, performed by a 16-member orchestra.

Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis, the two major figures of Greek 20th century art music successfully married poetry with music for more than 50 years. Much of this music features lyrics from the verses of renown Greek poets, including Nobel laureates Odysseus Elytis and Giorgos Seferis.
