3-Day Byzantine Icon Painting Workshop with Christopher Gosey

For adults and teens 13 or older. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult also taking the class.

In this three-day class, iconographer Christopher Gosey provides personal, hands-on, technical instruction to guide students to complete their own 7”x 9” icon of the Mother of God/Virgin Mary in the Byzantine tradition. Mr. Gosey will also teach the origins of Byzantine icons and the iconographer’s spiritual preparations for writing an icon. NO drawing or painting experience is required.
