About Assumption Church
From the Church’s Website:With very little money but a great deal of faith, the founders incorporated the “Koimisis Theotokou” Greek Orthodox Church of Manchester, New Hampshire on August 11, 1936, and held the church’s first services at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church under the leadership of the Very Reverend Emilianos Paschalakis. Father Paschalakis himself designed the church, in the basilica style, and construction began in the spring of 1937.
