Presentation: Volunteering with Refugees in Mytilini

Vasiliki Moore, returned in early January, to her home in East Alstead after nearly two months of volunteer work on the Island of Mytilini. She and many other volunteers assisted refugees and migrants as they arrived on the island. Her first-person account of what she saw while working on the island provides a testimony to the horrendous conditions that have driven so many to leave their troubled homelands.
Presentation followed by questions & answers and refreshments.
Open to the public – everyone is invited!
