Greek cold coffee - frappe isolated on whiteGreek Style Freddo Iced Coffee Recipe Ingredients:

  •  2 shots of espresso
  • Evaporated milk
  • Sugar, if desired
  • Ice cubes

How to Make a Greek Style Freddo Iced Coffee:

Fill a tall glass with 3 or 4 ice cubes, depending on how big the glass is. Pour the evaporated milk into the glass so that it covers the ice cubes. Using a hand-held electric milk frother, blend the evaporated milk until it’s creamy, being careful to avoid the ice. This should take around 4 minutes. Set aside.

Make 2 shots of espresso using any method you want. You can either use a stovetop espresso pot or an espresso machine if you have one. Add the sugar to the hot espresso after it’s made if you’re taking it with sugar. Stir with a small spoon so that the sugar can dissolve.

Add 2 ice cubes to another tall glass. Pour the hot espresso shots over it. Stir the espresso in the ice so that it gets cold. Remove the ice with a slotted spoon, if desired. Remove the ice from the glass with the frothy milk. Pour the contents of that glass over the espresso. Serve it with a straw. Use the straw to stir the mixture together, if desired.
